BAHRAIN CYCLE - TEST RUN

On Febraury 18th I will be cycling the 70km (43 mi) from the Northernmost to the Southernmost tip of Bahrain Island with Chris, a friend from work. Starting at the Northern tip of Bahrain Island the route will take us along Road No 3469, down the Dry Dock Highway, across the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Causeway, along Salah Aldeen Aydobi Avenue, down and along the Majlis Al Ta'Awon Highway and down the Hawar and King Hamad Highways to the Southermost tip of Bahrain Island.

The route is approximately 70km (43 mi).

Chris is kindly letting me borrow his GoPro HD HERO in order to film the crossing so that Dave and I can test out our concept of recording and condensing the footage into a one minute Youtube clip.

Bahrain is a small island in the Arabian Gulf measuring 55km (34 mi) long by 18km (11mi) wide. The perfect place to test filming and uploading footage recorded using a handlebar mounted camera.
